| This week, while waiting on a new manuscript I'll be copy-editing, I've been working on finalizing some of the drawings for the Radium Girls exhibition, which will appear in the windows of Pittsburgh's Future Tenant Gallery next January. I'm not in the studio here, but in the living room, watching all those fun court shows (like Judge Matthis) that run on network television during the day. So entertaining! |

| "Magic Snail" has been accepted into Limner Gallery's "Small Works" exhibition. The show will run between the end of January and the end of February at Limner's Hudson, NY location. |

| Things are happening in the studio...many things....(an aerial view). I've started stretching my own canvases again, too. You can see the tiger I've started in the background. What is the tiger on, you ask? It is on canvas, but I've added old dress patterns with waterproof mixed media adhesive. I like the texture of the thin paper underneath the paint. |

| I have discovered the joy of using a sewing machine on paper. "The Astronomy Professor" is getting an application of red thread. He has since been mounted on a 6" x 6" sheet, further embroidered and hand-colored, and will be on his way to the Rochester Contemporary Art Center for their 6 x 6 x 13 exhibtion by the end of next week (with a few other works). |

| I am so, so excited about this new project! It involves scanned vintage post card pictures, segments of one of my drawings from 1999, and cut outs from 1920s sheet music. Things have only just begun with this series.... |
